Lenovo at AU 2025: Navigating AI and Leading Innovation

AU 2025 was full of the latest innovations and ideas, thanks in part to one of our top premier sponsors, Lenovo. This year in Nashville, Lenovo showcased their cutting-edge P Series Workstation solutions and offered exclusive workflow demonstrations tailored for Autodesk users. AU attendees were able to experience live demos in the Lenovo booth, , including VRED AI, which offered a glimpse into how advanced technology is shaping the future of design and make. From remote work to advanced simulation, reality capture and AI to getting the most out of daily BIM / CAD and M&E solutions like Revit, Inventor, 3ds Max and Maya, Lenovo workstation solutions help Autodesk users design and make the future.

Highlighting a Key Session from AU: Navigating AI in the AECO Industry

Lenovo presented an engaging session at AU 2025: Navigating AI: Balancing Visionary Potential with Real-World Practice. This class emphasized the real-world application of AI in the AECO industry and showcased practical AI workflows that easily integrate AI capabilities with faster results, greater control, and cost savings. For deeper insights, catch a recording of the class through our year-round Digital Site and discover how this class will prove that AI isn't just a buzzword or a cloud-only concept. You’ll see practical, accessible AI workflows, empowering architects, engineers, and builders to integrate AI into their toolkits without needing a PhD in machine learning.

AI is rapidly becoming a foundational force in the Design & Make movement, driving innovation across every phase of the AECO lifecycle. By accelerating iteration, AI enables designers and engineers to optimize workflows, simulate outcomes, and explore alternatives with unprecedented speed and precision. It also introduces smarter automation—from generative design to predictive maintenance—freeing up time and enhancing decision-making. Crucially, this session highlights how AI can be deployed locally, delivering faster results, reducing costs, and offering greater control for firms handling sensitive IP or operating in bandwidth-limited environments

The collaboration between Autodesk and Lenovo emphasizes the continued commitment to bringing advanced AI technologies to designers and makers across industries, with sustainability and inclusivity top of mind. By integrating Autodesk software with Lenovo’s high-performance hardware, we hope to enable the Design & Make community to reach new heights in creativity and productivity.

Designing and Making the Future with Lenovo

Lenovo is focused on bringing powerful workstations to Autodesk users, enabling them to design and create the future. In many cases, regardless of where that future may be! Check out the Saga Space project, an example of Fusion and Revit, powered by Lenovo workstations, to design future space habitats.

Also, see how Lenovo workstations enabled the digitization of Alcatraz, processing massive datasets to create a high-resolution 3D model that tracks environmental change in real time.

Stay tapped into our community to continue learning about innovations from partners like Lenovo, and how we’re collaborating to build a better future, together.
