And the Speaker Award Goes to…

Autodesk University is pleased to announce the winners of the AU 2011 Speaker Awards. These highly coveted awards go to the speakers who receive the highest scores from AU Las Vegas attendees based on after-class surveys. The surveys included questions about both content and presentation.

Hands-on Lab: David Butts for his class “Autodesk® Revit® MEP: Systems? Filters? Layouts? I Need Help!” This award goes to the speaker with the highest rating for a hands-on lab.

Unconference: Brian Hailey for his class “Get Your Style On Unconference”. This award goes to the speaker with the highest rating for an unconference session.

Newbie: Patricia Wines for her class “Un-BIM-lievable! You Did What with AutoCAD® Architecture?” This award goes to the highest-rated first-time AU speaker.

Thank you, David, Patricia, Brian, and all of this year’s AU speakers for the effort you put into developing and presenting your classes!

Thanks also to everyone who completed class surveys. Your feedback is very important in helping us select the best class offerings for the next AU conference. The winners of this year’s survey drawing for an AU 2012 all-inclusive conference pass are:

  • Tuesday Survey Winners: Chris Kaufhold and Frank Balnius
