Step up to the plate: Become an AU mentor

With so many things going on simultaneously at AU, new attendees may end up feeling completely overwhelmed. Last year for the first time, some of our AU veterans stepped up and helped out our struggling newbies. Will that be you this year?

At the AU Freshman Orientation on Monday night, we will seat mentors at the tables. As a mentor, your job is to answer questions, facilitate discussion among the people at your table, and impart your invaluable AU wisdom to the group.

Here's what it takes to be a mentor:

• You have attended AU at least 2 times in the past.
• You are registered for AU 2013.
• You can commit to being available in Las Vegas on Monday, December 2, from 4:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., first for a short orientation by Lynn Allen and then to meet new AU attendees.
