Global regulations and incentives to cut these upfront carbon emissions are growing, including the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act, Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act, and the EU Green Public Procurement. The speakers will explain the climate impact of concrete and steel, key opportunities for low cost impact reductions, and how to communicate options and savings to stakeholders.  The talk will include a short demonstration integrating Civil3D with EC3 on an underground water network example.  We will generate a sustainability report on the civil design and show how carbon intensity can be built into a public procurement.   There will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end.
