Last quarter, we announced the launch of our first public-facing roadmap for Autodesk’s Info360 cloud solutions for water and wastewater. As true SaaS products, Info360 Insight and Info360 Asset, and are regularly updated with exciting new features and enhancements to meet evolving customer needs. Today, we have a new roadmap update for you.
Easier to see where we’re going – and where we’ve been
First and foremost, with this update we added a new category to the roadmap. You’ll now see three tabs when you visit the roadmap page:
- Launched: When we’ve successfully completed a milestone on the roadmap, it will appear in the “Launched” tab.
- In progress: The second tab is labeled “In progress” to indicate what features our team is actively working on.
- Under consideration: The third tab is what is “Under consideration” – areas of potential development.
Info360 Asset: the biggest updates of the three
The strategic vision for Info360 Asset is to grow support for inspection and condition standards so that more regions in the world may benefit from a cloud-based solution. The product strategy also includes improving intraoperability and interoperability with external and internal software to break down data silos.
With our most recent Info360 Asset release, we’ve moved several key deliverables from “In progress” to “Launched”:
- We added support for UK Manual of Sewer Condition Classification (MSCC) 4/5 CCTV condition standards, which will make it easier for contractors or field crews in the UK to upload media for review and inspection.
- Risk scenario modeling which allows you to build, assess, and store several risk configurations consisting of varying weighted likelihood (LoF) and consequence of failure (CoF) models. With this new feature you can change the scoring of LoF and CoF components, add or replace risk categories within LoF and CoF, and view risk scenarios on the map.
- Expanded support for water distribution network and asset types such as pipes, hydrants, meters, pumps, valves, tanks, boreholes, fittings, and treatment works for visualization on a map.
- GIS integration for data interoperability
Info360 Insight: Lots of visual upgrades
The strategic plan for Info360 Insight is to keep enhancing the data analytics and visualization of results and create workflows that operationalize network model insights and outputs. Our focus is on facilitating engineering and operational teams so they can better understand their underground water and wastewater system operations.
Here are some improvements from the most recent product release notes for Info360 Insight:
- Pump performance for booster pumps to visually display suction, discharge pressure, and pump performance relative to the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Candlestick charts display multiple pieces of information simultaneously, such as open, closed, high, and low. This data visualization is ideal for fluctuating time series data like tank and reservoir levels.
- User-provided ancillary GIS spatial data now shows those data sets’ attributes in the map properties pane.
