This digital process allows prospects to visually configure and calculate any residential or family timber house. These visualization of the customer's request via the house configurator leads to a faster and high-quality discussion with the customer. Seamless transition from configuration to design in Autodesk Revit ensures that no extra detail design work must be carried out manually. That model is transferred into the fabrication process and finally all data is leveraged via BIM360/ACC BUILD on construction sites for project and quality management and daily logs.

Autodesk Forma and Autodesk Forge: Our CDE Backbone That Integrates the Hospital Data Management

This class will demonstrate the implementation of a powerful common data environment—using Autodesk Forma and BIM 360 platforms combined with an application developed in Autodesk Forge—for the management of hospital project data. The Grand Paris North Hospital project is intended to be the largest hospital in Paris, France, and was designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop and Brunet Saunier Architecture. We’ll use this project to explain the implementation of data workflows in order to build optimized circuits that involve all project stakeholders, planners, the owner, users, architects, and all the engineers’ firms with Forma Design Collaboration and Forma Data Management (design collaboration, model coordination, and issues management). More than 100 people! We’ll show how a connected Autodesk Forge application will collect data from Autodesk Forma in order to push automation processes in data analysis and deliverables creation. We’ll do a live demonstration of this real Autodesk Forge-based BIM data checker enabling data processes throughout the project lifecycle, from plan to operation.

The construction industry faces significant pressure to undergo digital transformation, necessitating the integration of all users, data, and stakeholders into a unified common data environment (CDE). The Copenhagen Metro embarked on the challenge of transitioning to Autodesk Forma for the design and construction of the new M5 Metro Line. This presentation aims to share our journey of harnessing the capabilities of Workato to establish efficient workflows and automations. These initiatives facilitated Autodesk Forma implementation and enhanced user satisfaction of the platform. With cooperation from Autodesk, we've managed to speed up implementation of Forma Data Management and Forma Build modules, decrease time spent on tedious self-repeating tasks, increase quality, and use the functionalities of other tools by integrating applications with Autodesk Forma to create a holistic CDE.

Delivering Megaprojects Without Disruption: Moving from BIM 360 to Forma and Across Oceans for Data Regionalization
Managing data on megaprojects is one of the most complex challenges in construction today. With diverse stakeholders, global teams, and a multitude of tools in use, maintaining access to accurate, real-time data across regions becomes critical. But what happens when a live, ongoing project needs to be migrated—across platforms and geographies—without disrupting progress? In this session, we’ll explore a real-world case where a project team undertook a year-long effort to migrate project data from BIM 360 to Autodesk Forma, and subsequently transitioned the project from the United States to the EU data center to meet data residency and regulatory requirements. We’ll walk through the technical and logistical challenges faced, compare available migration strategies, and showcase how the team used Autodesk Forma Connect to automate much of the process—ensuring continuity, compliance, and collaboration across the board.

Building Ops: Cross-Platform Workflows for a Mobile Asset Management Solution
To date, created and collected asset data has been siloed within its respective native software, forcing users to extract information from each software and aggregate it to create a custom electronic deliverable. This is a very time-consuming manual process with inconsistent deliverables to owners. Cross-platform workflows in the Autodesk, Inc., suite has enabled information to be passed from one software to the next, resulting in a more-aggregated, seamless deliverable. In this class, we will discuss methods and best practices that you can put in place to help make the data-sharing process go a bit smoother. We will also cover best practices for working on a project that uses integrated project delivery (IPD) and only Autodesk® Revit® software among multidiscipline team members, including taking full advantage of the live model for coordination. We will go from the initial project team kickoff meeting, through "in-progress" coordination meetings, and finally through project delivery.
