This class will explore and demonstrate the new era of process-oriented project execution.The Daily’s Place Amphitheatre and Covered Flexfield design project between Populous, Walter P Moore, ARUP, & ME Engineers proved to be an incredibly complex project with an incredibly speedy delivery.We didn’t use new software, but rather we used established software in more integrated ways.We will show how the design team blurred the lines of design and detailing with the construction and fabrication modeling, thus allowing the design, engineering and fabrications teams to collaboratively explore various conditions and scenarios in real time effectively using multiple software integrated into one project delivery. <br /><br />This class will cover the design evolution, its parametric exploration of multiple scenarios and optimal engineering solutions to fabricate and construct a super complicated facility in a year’s time; and an RFI count of less than 250!
