What’s in the Works for AU 2013?
Planning for Autodesk University is a year-long process. In January, we start defining the entire AU program for the coming year and reviewing our long-term strategy for all AU programs. We take into account feedback that attendees provided in the AU 2012 conference evaluations the last day of the event. We also talk to Autodesk insiders as well as industry experts to learn about trends that are important to the Autodesk user community.
Here’s a sneak preview of what’s coming to AU 2013:
- More preliminary or follow-up roundtable discussions on the same topics as some of our lectures and hands-on labs.
- Live-streaming of the conference Keynote Address and Innovation Forums. These were very popular last year, so we’ll be offering them again.
- Classes will be 90 minutes in the morning and 60 minutes in the afternoon to minimize overload and allow more time for networking.
What’s Next?
First on the list is the AU 2013 Call for Proposals. We’ll be making detailed information, such as this year’s track descriptions, honoraria amounts, and tips for writing a successful proposal, available on the AU website starting April 2.
You’ll be able to submit your proposals starting April 23. As always, we’re really looking forward to reading your submissions.
If you’re interested in submitting a proposal and were not a speaker last year, you can still sign up to be notified by email when the Call for Proposals goes live on April 23.
Registration for the conference opens in late August. See you at AU 2013, December 3–5, at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
