Take a look at sessions that showcase, discuss, and include integrations with an Autodesk AECO solution:
The Terminal 2 Baggage Programme (T2BP) at Heathrow aims to replace the aging T2 baggage system linked to Terminal 1. The new solution will be implemented in five phases across 21 construction projects, grouped by physical and operational attributes. A major challenge was managing design risks through different organizations and suppliers that interface at key areas in a live operational environment. The manual Excel processes used to record design risks led to difficulties in maintaining a single source of truth, causing duplication and errors. The goal was to find a streamlined, digital solution to standardize processes and enable monitoring and reporting through dashboards. After researching data environments, Autodesk Construction Cloud was chosen for its suitability to manage design risk information, requiring customization through trial and feedback. The solution also provided integration with augmented reality (AR) for live inspections.
Ground data is key to constructing safe, cost-effective, sustainable infrastructure. As an Autodesk strategic partner, Fugro developed GeoDin Ground app for Civil 3D software to transform infrastructure design by providing designers and civil engineers with contextual and comprehensive ground data through an integration with GeoDin, a leading geotechnical data management, analysis, and reporting software. The GeoDin Ground app allows designers to see into the ground. How does this work exactly? We’ll show and teach you all the major insights in this session. We’ll import geotechnical data directly into Civil 3D, visualize boreholes, and create surfaces and volumes with GeoDin Ground. Finally, we’ll analyze geotechnical data between surfaces and create volume reports. And we’ll demonstrate the benefits of visualizing and analyzing infrastructure in combination with ground layers. You’ll leave the session with a bigger picture of the impact of GeoDin Ground and a practical understanding of the app.
The Denver International Airport (DEN) is widely recognized for its leadership in BIM. As part of a recent modernization initiative, DEN took a major leap forward by extending that BIM vision into geographic information system (GIS) technology—transforming how spaces inside the airport are mapped, managed, and maintained. In this session, you’ll learn how digital facilities and infrastructure (DFI) and GIS collaborated to build an 18-million-square-foot ArcGIS Indoors database spanning the entire campus using detailed Revit models. More than 7,000 rooms in this space management digital twin are now spatially enabled and linked to identifiers used in asset and facilities systems. We’ll share key milestones from our 10-year digital transformation and cover how recent breakthroughs connected Revit and ArcGIS workflows. From exporting BIM to ArcGIS Indoors to now strategizing about how to push data back to Revit, DEN is building a truly bidirectional BIM-GIS environment—bringing spatial intelligence to new disciplines and teams across the airport.
This session will explore how to transform Autodesk Construction Cloud data into actionable project insights using Power BI and Insight Builder. You’ll learn how to use the Data Connector to extract admin, RFI, submittal, issue, and daily log data—and visualize it through interactive dashboards. The class will cover DAX-driven techniques to analyze and track project health indicators, such as: 1) cost and schedule impact for RFIs, 2) percent complete by division for submittals, 3) root cause categories for issues, and 4) work-hours over time for daily logs. It also includes a side-by-side comparison of dashboards built in Power BI and Insight Builder to highlight their complementary strengths. Real-world examples from implemented projects will illustrate how these tools can surface leading indicators and support proactive, data-informed decisions in construction management.
Managing data on megaprojects is one of the most complex challenges in construction today. With diverse stakeholders, global teams, and a multitude of tools in use, maintaining access to accurate, real-time data across regions becomes critical. But what happens when a live, ongoing project needs to be migrated—across platforms and geographies—without disrupting progress? In this session, we’ll explore a real-world case where a project team undertook a year-long effort to migrate project data from BIM 360 to Autodesk Construction Cloud, and subsequently transitioned the project from the United States to the EU data center to meet data residency and regulatory requirements. We’ll walk through the technical and logistical challenges faced, compare available migration strategies, and showcase how the team used Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect to automate much of the process—ensuring continuity, compliance, and collaboration across the board.
This session will explore Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Workato’s Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect integration, enhancing project efficiency and accuracy through automation. Using a real-world example from Sener’s metro line extension project in Canada, custom Workato recipes streamline file sharing and deliverable management. Automations include batch file renaming, transferring files across complex folder structures based on metadata, and integrating SharePoint with Autodesk Construction Cloud. These innovations improve collaboration between Sener and its customer, leading to smoother workflows, time and cost savings, and better control over project data. The session will showcase automations simplifying project management processes by automatically renaming and organizing files using custom attributes and internal review and bridge workflows. Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect (Workato) tools reduce manual effort and minimize errors. Notably, the savings in this project are estimated to exceed 5,000 hours per year.
What does it take to successfully deliver a mega project with thousands of models, multiple stakeholders and complex coordination needs? Drawing from AtkinsRéalis’ extensive experience in delivering large-scale frameworks, this session offers proven strategies for managing digital delivery at scale. Learn to develop a robust digital strategy for mega projects, from standardized project environment setup and information exchange frameworks to multidisciplinary coordination workflows. Explore how Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Autodesk Platform Services (APS), ACC Connect, Data Exchange and the Autodesk Validation Tool (AVT) enable seamless collaboration, streamline design review and synchronize project-wide data for quality assurance, coordination, construction (4D), costing (5D) and carbon analytics (6D). Gain practical insights into managing multi-level collaboration and walk away with actionable strategies for implementing data driven solutions in complex, large-scale projects.
The future of sustainable, equitable urban design hinges on access to actionable data at the earliest design stages. This session will explore the ongoing strategic alliance between Autodesk and Esri, with an exclusive look at the new Autodesk Forma extension for ArcGIS that integrates deep geographic information system (GIS) insights directly into design workflows. You’ll hear from Lake Flato Architects’ Urban Planning Studio, the Forma team, and Esri’s Professional Services about how the Forma real-time simulation and massing tools, combined with robust GIS layers—from flood risk and green infrastructure to demographic and zoning data—can empower planning decisions that balance ecology, equity, and economy. Through real-world examples and a forward-looking road map, we’ll show how GIS-driven design accelerates collaboration and unlocks transformational outcomes for communities.
