Design and Make teams are under pressure to deliver more-complex projects, faster, from anywhere. In this session, a frontline super-user from industry joins Intel to show how Autodesk Fusion, AutoCAD, and Revit come together on slim mobile workstations powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Intel Arc B390 graphics to meet that challenge. You'll see how the speaker's organization moved from traditional, desk-bound workflows to a flexible, AI enabled setup that keeps designers, engineers, and BIM teams productive whether they're in the office, on the shop floor, or on the jobsite. Revit drives rich intelligent models and documentation. AutoCAD handles detailed 2D and 3D work that still anchors many projects. Autodesk Fusion connects design, generative exploration, and manufacturing in a single environment. All of it runs on slim, professional mobile workstations with integrated Intel Arc graphics and on-device AI acceleration without sacrificing performance or reliability.

ITT Flow Technologies designs highly configurable equipment. But as with many manufacturers, the digital thread breaks as data moves from engineering to programming, production, and the shop floor. Disconnected CAD, CAM, and manufacturing systems reduce traceability and drive manual work-arounds, delays, and rework. This session will show how ITT Flow Technologies is reconnecting design and manufacturing using Inventor, Vault, and Autodesk Fusion software. We'll review a real-world approach to creating a connected data flow across the product lifecycle. And we'll assess digital maturity, identify high-impact opportunities, and build a phased road map that delivers early value while improving collaboration, productivity, quality, and efficiency.

This session will answer a simple question for AU attendees: In a world obsessed with GPUs, where should I actually spend my money across CPU, GPU, and NPU for my design, make, and emerging AI workloads? For years, workstation buying has been GPU Agentic AI and modern Autodesk workflows are pushing CPU back to center stage as the orchestrator for both traditional and AI workloads. Traditional workloads (Revit model updates, AutoCAD drafting, Autodesk Fusion modeling, simulation, office, and collaboration) are still heavily CPU bound. Piling on GPU does not fix a starved CPU. Agentic AI and AI assistants add a new control layer that is CPU intensive orchestration: planning, tool calls, APS integration, retrieval, evaluation, and logging. The right answer is a balanced portfolio of CPU, GPU, and NPU mapped to how AU customers actually work, not just to spec sheets.

Offshore manufacturing used to be the cheapest option until it wasn't. As shipping costs rose by more than 200%, offshore rework rates soared three to five times higher, and lead times stretched by up to 30%, many manufacturers started to rethink offshoring and consider bringing production closer to home. This class will show how Autodesk Fusion software helps teams address the often-overlooked costs of offshoring by connecting design and manufacturing workflows in one platform. Through practical examples, you'll see how Fusion reduces rework, improves process control, speeds iteration, and streamlines computer numerical control (CNC) programming to support more-agile and efficient in-house production.
