It is a common misconception that AutoCAD software doesn’t see much benefit from running on a workstation with a professional, discrete graphics processing unit (GPU). As a result, many users are not getting the full performance and productivity out of AutoCAD that they could be. In addition, a number of Autodesk® software products that are complementary to AutoCAD and enhance the workflow and results from it, benefit enormously from running on a professional workstation with a professional GPU.
