2D Lines to 3D Pipe Networks for Mega Projects and Small Projects

This demo will show a real-life project scenario from start to finish. The project has massive amounts of data in 2D but clash detection was a major focus. The team put a workflow together using Civil 3D software, ArcGIS, Navisworks software, and the power of pipe networks to produce a very robust data set for the design teams to use. Assumed depth utilities present a dynamic problem in today's 3D world. Without proper as-built data, design standards, and construction documentation, this problem was a major hurdle for this team. The workflow they assembled enabled the consumer to easily determine the levels of accuracy, and individual pipes or networks could be updated in real time and displayed in a Navisworks federated model.
