    Descripción

The pandemic has dealt us unknown situations that have prompted us to change the ways we do many things, including our jobs. The architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry has found it necessary to adjust its methodologies to meet the global productivity demands, and adapt to the new standard of remote work and decentralized digitization of data. AutoCAD software has been known for many years in the industry, but we’ve seen new methodologies taking center stage in the market. In this session, we’ll talk about Revit software and building information modeling (BIM). Revit is a tool for BIM. Revit enables us to use the most efficient construction practices by letting us create a more structured initial planning that’s closer to reality. Revit enables collaboration among many people even without being on site, which improves execution time. An intelligent 3D model-based process creates less room for mistakes and less rework, and this translates into higher productivity that relieves financial pressures, helping us to make more profits. What could be better?
