Introducing the digital transformation journey of Samsung Electronics DS to build secured construction platform thru public cloud-based Autodesk Construction Cloud and private cloud-based VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).
In this journey, we established secured remote work infrastructure, centralized cloud-based design tools & data. As the owner of the construction project, we made a significant decision to adopt a CDE (Common Data Environment) to create, manage and operate secured construction project. Through Autodesk Construction Cloud, we successfully achieved flexibility of workforce management, accessibility of centralized data and cost reduction of IT security & operation.
From the perspective of the owner, digital transformation of semiconductor Fab construction through cloud adoption provides big value to our business with a variety of web-based work environments that cannot be applied in traditional closed on-premise environment.
