This update installs new Schneider Electric catalog data to Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2022 existing Schneider Electric catalog database.

Content includes:

• Catalog database
• Footprint lookup database
• AutoCAD Electrical 2D footprint Files
• Inventor 3D files (If Autodesk Inventor professional 2022 is found installed)

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to apply this update. It is also recommended that you reboot your system before applying this update.

1. Download " ACADE_2022_SCHNEIDER_ELECTRIC_Content_Update_1.0.zip " to a location on your local computer.
2. Extract the zip file on the same local drive folder.

3. Close Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2022.
4. Double click on "AceContentUpdate.exe".
5. If you do not have Inventor 3D installed on the system, check option "Install AutoCAD Electrical part database content" and "Install AutoCAD Electrical 2D Footprint content" to install the content update for AutoCAD Electrical only.
6. If you have Inventor 3D installed, you can check "Install Inventor 3D electrical component part files" to install the content update for Inventor 3D.
7. This update creates a backup file of existing Catalog database before appending new contents in existing database.
8. Launch Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2022 and start working with updated Schneider Electric content.

1. Close Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2022.
2. In the Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2022 installation, delete default_cat.mdb from "C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\Acade 2022\AeData\en-US\Catalogs" folder.
3. Rename default_cat.mdb.bak to default_cat.mdb
