Autodesk Maya 2017 Security Fix Release Notes

Thank you for downloading this security fix for Autodesk ® Maya ® 2017. It is strongly recommended that you read this document before you install this release.

What's Fixed

This release provides Maya with FBX SDK version 2017.1, which includes a number of security improvements. To install, you must uninstall your previous version of Maya 2017.

NOTE: Subscription customers get the FBX SDK version 2017.1 update as part of the Maya 2017 Update 2 release, which contains several other fixes and enhancements and is available from the Autodesk account portal, or from the Autodesk Desktop App. We recommend that Subscription customers download and install Maya 2017 Update 2 to obtain the FBX SDK 2017.1 security update, and do not install this standalone Security Fix update, which is incompatible with the Maya Update installers.
