Stability

• Crashes at startup if user home folder name has special characters.
• Crashes when drag columns in Layers palette.

Others

• Drawing disappears randomly when zoom or pan.
• Publishing to physcal plotter gets publish to PDF.
• Missing Laycur command.
• Reference drawing file name changes from upper case to lower case when xopen and saved.
• Some issues when printing with Cannon plotter, i.e. the "Rotate Page 90 degrees" not working.
• OTF fonts shows lower in height in printed result.
• Block nested geometry in Layer 0 lost the properties after burst.
• Layout name dropdown button gets cut off on statusbar sometimes.

This Update 1 is applicable to official releases of AutoCAD 2016 for Mac.

To install AutoCAD 2016 for Mac Update 1, do the following:

1. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install the update.
2. Double-click AutoCAD2016Update1.dmg to mount the volume.
3. Double-click AutoCAD2016Update1.pkg in the new mounted volume to run the installer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Launch AutoCAD for Mac after the installation has completed.
6. Click menu AutoCAD 2016, select About AutoCAD, the Product Version should be "M.48.M.586". And you should also see "Update 1" below it.

This update replaces files from the original installation of AutoCAD for Mac and cannot be uninstalled separately.

To uninstall this update, do the following:

1. Close AutoCAD for Mac.
2. In Finder, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2016 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2016 app.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Reinstall AutoCAD for Mac from the original product media or download.
