Thank you for installing AutoCAD^®/AutoCAD LT for Mac^® 2021.0.1 Hotfix

The 2021.0.1 hotfix fixes issues that customers reported via multiple channels. It also improves overall stability of the product basing on crash reports we received. This hotfix can be installed on the official AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2021 version and is recommended for all users. Please read the entire document before you apply the hotfix to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

• Sometimes AutoCAD freezes shortly at any command execution.
• Saving drawing to iCloud^® synced folders would save to duplicated files, and sometimes changes in the last save are lost.
• Sometimes AutoCAD crashes when selecting a drawing format and saving it.
• Renaming a layer from the right click menu does not work when the layer palette is in auto-hide mode.
• Printing with some plot styles gets random output result.
• Canvas shows in pure black or red if the sky status is on.
• Sometimes the "Select Alternate Font" dialog shows when open any drawing and cannot be dismissed.
• Sometimes AEC walls and dimensions may display and print with black fills in a layout.
• Random crashes when working in drawings with OTF postscript fonts.

The 2021.0.1 Hotfix can be installed over the official AutoCAD(AutoCAD LT) for Mac 2021 version.

To install AutoCAD(AutoCAD LT) for Mac 2021.0.1 Hotfix, do the following:

1. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install.
2. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2021.0.1_Hotfix_Combo.dmg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2021.0.1_Hotfix_Combo.dmg) to mount the volume.
3. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2021.0.1_Hotfix_Combo.pkg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2021.0.1_Hotfix_Combo.pkg) in the new mounted volume to run the installer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
5. The version can be checked in menu AutoCAD 2021(AutoCAD LT 2021) > select About AutoCAD(AutoCAD LT), you should see "AutoCAD 2021.0.1"("AutoCAD LT 2021.0.1") label.

1. Quit AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac.
2. In Finder, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2021 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2021 app. For LT, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD LT 2021 and double-click Remove AutoCAD LT 2021 app.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process.
