Biography

Kendra Wannamaker is a software developer and researcher based in Toronto, Canada. Kendra builds software and infrastructure that supports the research of the Human Computer Interaction and Visualization team.

Kendra obtained her master’s in computer science from the University of Calgary, under the supervision of Dr. Wesley Willett. Kendra’s research interests include personal informatics, situated visualizations, and physicalization of personal data, while she also has a deep love for research, software development, and teaching. Kendra’s work has been recognized by the Fred A. McKinnon Award in 2020, Honorable Mention at VIS 2018, and two teaching excellence awards.
