Principal Research Scientist
Jenmy Zhang is a Principal Research Scientist at Autodesk Research in Toronto. She has a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in generative design of aircraft wings based on fully coupled fluid-structural simulations. She joined Autodesk in 2017 as part of a transformative design initiative funded by DARPA, which has led to a few publications on accelerating failure predictions in multiscale lattice structures. She is currently exploring ways to improve computational design for manufacturing by introducing state-of-the-art numerical methods for partial differential equations and for leveraging data. Her research interests lie in multiscale analysis, uncertainty quantification, reduced-basis methods, and multiphysics simulations.
