Biography

Jim Stoddart is a Senior Research Scientist in the AEC Industry Futures group within Autodesk Research and is based out of Atlanta, GA. His research focuses on applications of novel technologies to real-world design problems, including new materials prototypes, generative design, advanced experimental fabrication, and spatial data visualization. Since 2014, Jim has published 6 papers and received 9 patents for technology in generative design, systems modeling, design analytics, and behavioral simulation. His work with Autodesk has received numerous architectural design and innovation awards and has been exhibited across the globe.
