Build your own NURBS topology or rebuild an existing one. TrueNURBS enables you to load the native NURBS data from a CAD model. This information coexists next to the tessellated polygon data.
The new Shell Node contains the NURBS shells and patches, and the tessellated polygon data is stored on top of it. You can interactively retessellate the meshes for better polygon quality, and you can re-topologize an existing scenegraph structure.
Instantly switch between polygon OpenGL rendering and direct NURBS raytracing rendering. A/B side rendering enables you to set visible or invisible parts. This is an often-used flag during the modeling process to differentiate between visible and invisible parts.
