Visual simulation features help you better understand lighting distribution.
The Luminance tone mapper displays a legend that indicates the light distribution inside a scene. Light specialists can define color spectrums mathematically using Full Width Half Maximum. Look directly into illuminated light sources—for example, light pipes or headlights—using a rayfile as a calculation basis.
All effects, such as specular reflections or refractions, are visible and you can see, for example, how presimulated rayfiles behave inside a light source. You can also load Osram and Optis Spectrum files that define color on a wavelength basis.
