Model Legal Boundaries

You can draw a new parcel or easement, then modify its shape and dimensions, including converting a straight-line edge to a curve for better alignment with an existing feature. You can create rights-of-way by offsetting a design road in your model. You can display contours lines within parcels, rights-of-way, or easements.

Import files containing data that specifies existing parcels, easements, and rights of way. You specify the data type: Parcel, Easement, Right of Way. Model Explorer lists these assets under Area of Interest.

For an SHP or SDF file containing a mix of types, choose Parcel. Later, in canvas, from the right-click menu, you can convert individual Parcel features to type Easement or Right of Way.
