Overview

Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server is no longer available

As of January 7, 2018, Autodesk has discontinued the sale of new subscriptions of Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server (AIMS). From that date, new subscriptions to AIMS will no longer be available for purchase.

Further, on January 2019, Autodesk will officially discontinue AIMS as an individual product. As of that date, new subscriptions, renewals for maintenance plans or subscriptions will no longer be available.

Autodesk is committed to help improve our customers’ web mapping-to-design workflows. This decision allows us to better partner with leaders in the GIS field – such as our announced collaboration with Esri – and work on delivering technologies that improve the exchange of data and information between GIS tools and our BIM design solutions. It strengthens our ability to enable more connected GIS+BIM workflows.

With our announced collaboration, Esri is making a special offer available to AIMS customers. More information about this offer, including contact information for Esri, can be found by visiting this page.

To learn more about these changes to AIMS, please review this FAQ. Questions include:

  • What is the future of the Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server product?
  • What are the implications for AutoCAD Map 3D?
  • Now that AIMS is no longer available, what will happen to the MapGuide Open Source project?
