It is the next evolution of Fusion Manage, bringing proven PLM capabilities into an AI-driven canvas experience that is easier to adopt, faster to prove value, and designed to help teams manage growing product complexity, without the rigid processes, administrative burden, and overhead often associated with traditional PLM.<\/p>\n\n\n<?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Introducing Agentic PLM in Autodesk Fusion Manage\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/negqVqdb3R4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen style=\"aspect-ratio:500 \/ 281;width:100%;height:auto;\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"flipping-the-traditional-plm-modelnbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Flipping the traditional PLM model<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Traditional PLM has largely worked one way. The organization adapts to the system. Teams define processes upfront. Administrators configure workflows. Specialists learn how the system works. Everyone else is expected to follow the process that has been built for them. This can create significant overhead before teams begin seeing value.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the agentic PLM experience coming to Fusion Manage, the goal is to flip that model. The agentic PLM experience will bring lifecycle control into an AI-driven canvas that connects product context, people, decisions, and next actions in one place, while joining the tools teams already use, including email, chat, and enterprise systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cI love it. The teams gain the control and traceability they need without forcing the organization to revolve around the system.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike rigid PLM systems that lock teams into processes defined upfront, Fusion Manage with its agentic experience is designed to adapt as teams grow and their needs evolve, continuously improving workflows to better fit the way each organization works.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"the-agentic-plm-experience-is-being-built-around-four-key-ideasnbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The agentic PLM experience is being built around four key ideas<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Intuitive.<\/strong> Make PLM collaboration intuitive, visual, and familiar, helping teams use product data to spot issues, explore options, and solve problems as work happens, rather than simply capturing information after decisions have been made.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Adaptive.<\/strong> Agentic, adaptive workflows will cut upfront configuration, accelerate value, and help teams move faster than traditional PLM allows.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Connected.<\/strong> Connect PLM with the systems, tools, and workflows teams rely on every day, bringing relevant data and insights into the PLM experience so teams can make better decisions with less searching and switching.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Intelligent.<\/strong> Agentic AI reasons over product and workflow context to predict impact, coordinate work, and drive the next action, not simply answer questions.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cIt&#8217;s amazing. AI is intended to support people, not replace accountability or the governed PLM foundation underneath. Product data, business rules, and change history remain managed in Fusion Manage, while agentic capabilities work within defined permissions, traceable workflows, and human approval where appropriate.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"moving-product-development-forwardnbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Moving product development forward<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When released, the new Fusion Manage experience will be designed to help teams spend less time searching for information, navigating systems, and coordinating work manually. Instead, they can focus on understanding what matters, making informed decisions faster and moving product development forward.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is the direction we shared at AU 2026: flip the traditional PLM model so the system adapts to the way teams work, not the other way around.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For some of the Autodesk customers who previewed the experience, the reaction was clear.
