Why the Fusion experience is evolving<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If\u00a0you’ve\u00a0been using Fusion for a while,\u00a0you’ve\u00a0probably felt\u00a0it.\u00a0Fusion\u00a0is evolving rapidly, but moving between workflows, workspace, and different parts\u00a0of the product\u00a0can still feel fragmented. Instead of feeling like one seamless\u00a0product, it can sometimes feel like you’re moving between different worlds.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our 2026 Fusion Roadmap<\/a> talks extensively about the capabilities and workflows we’re building, but what it doesn’t talk about as much is how the overall user experience is evolving alongside those capabilities to keep Fusion intuitive, approachable, and enjoyable to use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past several months, we’ve also been listening closely to your feedback. We’ve heard your thoughts on everything from navigation and discoverability to consistency across desktop and web experiences. Those conversations have reinforced something we believe is essential: as Fusion continues to grow, it should become more connected, more intuitive, and easier to navigate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout 2026 and beyond, we’ll continue delivering a series of user experience improvements that span every persona, workflow, and device. This isn’t simply a visual refresh, it’s a fundamental rethinking of how Fusion feels to use. Together, these improvements are intended to make Fusion feel like one connected experience, with shared navigation patterns, responsive layouts that work seamlessly across desktop, web, and mobile devices, an AI assistant woven throughout the product, and a personalized Home experience that helps you work faster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s changing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As you know, Fusion serves an incredibly diverse community. Some use Fusion to design products, others to manufacture them, and many wear multiple hats throughout the process. Whether you’re a mechatronics engineer, a 5-axis machinist, a furniture maker, or part of a team of designers and engineers, Fusion needs to support the way you work. As Fusion continues to expand to support more workflows, the user experience needs to evolve with it. These improvements create a more consistent foundation while still allowing each workflow to be optimized for the people who use it. That means everyone will notice some changes, but those changes are intended to make Fusion easier to learn, easier to navigate, and ultimately easier to use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also recognize that changes to the tools you rely on every day can take time to adjust to. As Fusion continues to evolve, our goal is to make navigating more intuitive, not simply different. We’re exploring new ways to introduce significant experience changes with greater clarity and less disruption, helping you understand what’s changing, why it’s changing, and how it benefits the work you do every day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These improvements fall into five categories: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Home that works for you<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your experience in Fusion should orient you immediately, showing you where you are, what you were working on, what’s available to you, and what you should do next. The Home experience will continue to be refined to make getting started simpler and more personal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigation that goes anywhere<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Whether you’re working in Fusion on desktop or web, or in Design or Manufacturing, navigation should feel familiar and consistent. We’re creating one global navigation system that works across the entire product. As Fusion expands beyond a traditional design canvas, the way you navigate needs to evolve with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your data, always within reach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Accessing your files, projects, and team content shouldn’t depend on whether you’re in Home, using the Data Panel in the desktop application, or working in the web client. We’re making data access a seamless experience that’s consistent wherever you work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workspace that fit how you work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fusion should adapt to your workflow, not force you to adapt to it. Many members of our community wear multiple hats throughout the day, moving between different tasks, roles, and devices. We’re building an experience that stays responsive and familiar through those transitions, so you can stay focused on your work instead of adjusting to the software. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI that’s part of the experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We’re integrating AI assistance throughout Fusion so it’s available wherever you need it, in the context of the work you’re doing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a journey, and we want you, our community, to be part of it. Rather than waiting until everything is finished, we’ll share these improvements as they evolve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
