Contributing 16% to the GDP and supporting nearly half of the population, farming helps keep the nation running. But the industry faces deep-rooted challenges that impact farmer incomes and food security.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In India, approximately 30% of fruits and vegetables are lost post-harvest due to limited access to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cold_chain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cold chain infrastructure<\/a>. Farmers\u2019 livelihoods are hindered by market fluctuations and the inability to wait for better prices. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecozensolutions.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ecozen<\/a> has set out to solve these challenges in a sustainable way.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ecozen Delivers a Climate-Smart Future for Farmers with Autodesk Fusion\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hJhoAZBXdmM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen style=\"aspect-ratio:500 \/ 281;width:100%;height:auto;\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur vision has been to enable climate-smart agriculture,\u201d says Devesh Yadav, Assistant Vice President of Technology and Design, Ecozen. \u201cWe started with a mission to empower farmers using sustainable tech solutions that could make their lives better. From day one, we have been focused on solving real problems like irrigation and cold storage with a focus on clean energy.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"delivering-sustainable-solutions-directly-to-farmersnbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delivering sustainable solutions directly to farmers <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ecozen currently has two flagship products that bring renewable energy to everyday farming. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecozensolutions.com\/ecofrost\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ecofrost<\/a> is a container-sized, solar-powered refrigerator, allowing farmers to store perishable products, such as fruits and vegetables, for longer periods. These containers are delivered locally and on site to extend the cold chain infrastructure for increased accessibility. Ecozen has also developed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecozensolutions.com\/ecotron\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ecotron<\/a>, which uses solar energy to drive submersible pumps for irrigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"461\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2025-10-09-at-17.11.58-1024x461.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-80340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2025-10-09-at-17.11.58-1024x461.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2025-10-09-at-17.11.58-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2025-10-09-at-17.11.58-768x346.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2025-10-09-at-17.11.58-1536x691.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2025-10-09-at-17.11.58.jpg 1855w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The company\u2019s scale is already remarkable. Ecozen\u2019s technologies have impacted more than 1.2 million lives, avoided 2 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions, reduced perishable waste by more than 19,000 metric tons, and saved 315 million liters of diesel. Their systems have also generated 945 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Farmers are seeing the difference firsthand. Ecofrost allows them to keep fruits and vegetables fresh after harvest. With more time to sell, they can wait for better market prices. Ecotron has enabled irrigation of more than 600,000 acres, helping farmers grow crops even in the off-season.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have seen an incredible impact on the ground,\u201d Yadav says. \u201cFarmers are increasing productivity and earnings and significantly reducing their post-harvest losses.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"making-new-inroads-with-autodesk-fusionnbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Making new inroads with Autodesk Fusion <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ecozen\u2019s forward-thinking innovation also extends to their design and manufacturing approaches. One of these is a switch to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Autodesk Fusion<\/a>. The company now relies on Fusion to accelerate design, improve collaboration, and cut costs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cInitially, our workflows were siloed,\u201d Yadav says. \u201cFor example, a CAD person would design first and then perform CAE simulations in another software with many iterations. This quick ramp-up helped us realize value from the platform.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cThe design and simulation workflows are integrated in Fusion, resulting in faster turnaround times and improved accuracy. A major advantage we observed was the significant cost savings. With Fusion, we were able to save up to 30% on our calculated investment.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p><cite><em>\u2014Devesh Yadav, Assistant Vice President of Technology and Design, Ecozen<\/em><\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"scaling-smarter-with-fusion%25c2%25a0\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scaling smarter with Fusion\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As Ecozen expands, so does the complexity of its product line and operations. The company decided to make the move to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-manage\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fusion Manage<\/a> to scale with its growth. Maintaining BOM and product data has now become much simpler and more reliable. Errors are now reduced, and the handoff between teams is now streamlined and traceable.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Early on, implementing Fusion Manage as our PLM solution was a smooth and structured process,\u201d Yadav says. \u201cWe were able to roll it out and onboard our teams within just two quarters.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fusion is helping them truly transform how they oversee product lifecycle management.\u00a0\u201cWith Fusion Manage, we were able to bring all stakeholders right from ideation to product development and even production onto a single platform,\u201d Yadav says. \u201cThis helped improve visibility and accountability across departments.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"looking-to-the-futurenbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking to the future <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ecozen continues to accelerate as it continually refines current products and innovates new solutions. For Yadav, it comes down to a holistic approach and the end results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHonestly, it\u2019s not just about better tools,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s about better outcomes
