Autodesk\u2019s suite of tools, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fusion<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/autocad\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AutoCAD<\/a>, proved instrumental in this process, facilitating precise 3D modeling, thermal analysis, and structural simulations to refine their biodegradable battery cells before moving to physical prototyping.\u00a0Today, Nexus Power is gaining momentum, securing government grants and private investments to scale its technology and bring its innovative battery solutions to market. Once the initial designs were finalized, Autodesk Fusion enabled them to create 3D models, offering detailed visualization and refinement opportunities. The ability to iterate on these models before moving to prototyping significantly reduced errors and material wastage.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ensuring-efficiency-and-reliability\">Ensuring efficiency and reliability<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>One of the biggest challenges in battery innovation was achieving high energy density and efficiency while maintaining safety and reliability. Nexus Power relied on Autodesk Fusion\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/simulation-extension\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">advanced simulation capabilities<\/a> to refine its biodegradable battery technology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through structural integrity analysis, they tested the resilience of battery enclosures, ensuring they could withstand mechanical stresses, while thermal performance simulations helped identify potential overheating issues\u2014a critical factor in battery safety and longevity. It helped us simulate the environment and specific performance.
