Solanda had cut up fresh strawberries, but she couldn\u2019t just give their daughter the whole bowl since it would inevitably get spilled. Contorting her arm and handing each individual strawberry slice to her in the backseat was difficult\u2014not to mention it disrupted an interesting conversation they were having. This one car ride connected all the dots and the need for a cover. &#8220;I spent an afternoon mocking up a concept in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/overview?term=1-YEAR&amp;tab=subscription\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Autodesk Fusion<\/a>, animating how it could move,&#8221; he recalls. The product took off and is now available worldwide, both digitally and in brick-and-mortar stores, including Target and Walmart. But the lunch box didn\u2019t start out the way it\u2019s available today. It was reimagined after extensive customer feedback. Initially designed as a stackable container with a Snack Spinner on top, the first concept, called the &#8220;Lunch Stack,&#8221; received praise but just wasn\u2019t quite hitting the mark.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Parents loved it\u2014but they wouldn\u2019t send it to school with their kids because it didn\u2019t fit in their backpacks,\u201d Joseph says. &#8220;So we went back to the drawing board.&#8221;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Months of iterations led to the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.target.com\/c\/lunch-boxes-bags-luggage\/gobe\/-\/N-5xt55Zq643lemu36p\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GoBe Lunchbox<\/a>, which has been a massive success\u00a0both online and with major brick-and-mortar retail.\u00a0Last year alone, Target signed up for a back-to-school program with an order for 75,000 lunch boxes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"using-autodesk-fusion-to-fuel-successnbsp\">Using Autodesk Fusion to fuel success <\/h2>\n\n\n<p>A key factor in GoBe\u2019s rapid growth and success is its use of Autodesk Fusion. Since the beginning, Ryan has worked closely with GoBe for industrial design.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJoseph was one of the first founders I worked with who really embraced engineering and industrial design working in parallel,\u201d Ryan says. \u201cWith Fusion\u2019s cloud workflow, we\u2019re not passing files back and forth, we\u2019re shaping the product together in real time, which lets us move through concept and refinement stages much more intentionally.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s great is we can all open up the file together and look at it at the same time with the same level of fidelity\u2014or we can each look at different parts at the same time,\u201d he continues.&nbsp;\u201cJoseph can edit and make&nbsp;a new version, and then&nbsp;I\u2019ll&nbsp;go in. With Fusion, the way we can collaborate is seamless. Fusion quickly became my favorite, and it\u2019s been instrumental in building the business from the beginning.\u201d <\/em>&nbsp;<\/p><cite>\u2014Joseph Blanch, Co-founder and CEO, rare to shepherd a product from early concept through prototyping, tooling, and onto major retail shelves, and that full journey is what makes being a designer so sippy cups to open cups\u202fand more products in development, the company continues to push&nbsp;new&nbsp;boundaries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s incredible to think all of this just started with a car ride,\u201d Joseph says.\u00a0\u201cBut\u00a0here we are with global sales and distribution and making parents\u2019 and caregivers\u2019 lives a little bit
