Drawing Automation settings are &#8216;Forward Create,&#8217; which means that the settings will not be applied to the current drawing; they will be applied to the next drawing created.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember that the settings in your Template are used for drawing creation. If you make changes to the Automation settings while in a drawing, make sure to &#8216;Push to Template&#8217; so that they appear in your template. <\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"auto-dimensions-command\">Auto Dimensions command<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Drawing Automation offers a powerful command called&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.autodesk.com\/view\/fusion360\/ENU\/?guid=DWG-AUTO-DIMENSION\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Auto Dimensions<\/a>, which you can use for automatic dimensioning or for adjusting automatically created dimensions. If you don&#8217;t want drawings to have automatic dimensions, simply un-tick &#8216;Auto Dimension.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"drawing-automation-and-fasteners\">Drawing automation and fasteners<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind that Drawing Automation ignores standard fasteners from the Autodesk fastener library.&nbsp;The \u201cOmit list\u201d (in Document settings) is designed to assist with removing other parts that you may not want to document.&nbsp;This list enables you to set additional components to ignore. Default settings are \u201cBolt, Screw, Nut or Washer.&#8221; This list is customizable and should be set in the drawing template. The \u201cOmit list\u201d will not create drawings for any component named.
