Although we&#8217;ll be addressing\u00a0the creation of domes and points in designs, we&#8217;ll also be covering a couple of\u00a0sculpting tips\u00a0as I revisit something I\u2019ve made about 50 times before&#8230;a crane hook. Designing one of these without sculpting used to take serious effort, due to the method used; a loft that required tons of sketches made at odd angles, requiring an equal number of reference planes. Now, using sculpting in Fusion 360, enables me the freedom to alter direction and cross sectional area with intuitive controls. Some might consider this confusing, but in the end that level of flexibility and fine tuning are required depending on the requirements.
