To address this, let&#8217;s use the Window Selection tool to select the components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can disable this by unchecking \u201cComponent Drag\u201d in the select menu and now you&#8217;ll be able to draw the selection box on top of a part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"531\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/image-6-10-1024x531.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53147\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/image-6-10-1024x531.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/image-6-10-300x156.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/image-6-10-768x398.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/image-6-10.jpg 1149w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, you&#8217;ll also notice that it selects surrounding faces on other models. In order to correct this, select from right to left. Here you&#8217;ll see the window now looks different. Once you have selected what you want, you can right-click and pick \u201cCreate Selection Set\u201d. Then, you can drag the minimum slider to unselect the parts that are smaller than the pieces you want.
