Now with that out of the way we can really have some fun with the new Rendering workspace in the latest May update.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lets just get started<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Where&#8217;s the new rendering workspace you ask?\u00a0Head over to the Model or Patch icon and hover over it to get a flyout that lets you select Render.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"original.png\" src=\"http:\/\/autodesk.i.lithium.com\/t5\/image\/serverpage\/image-id\/106524iB648652887FBC646\/image-size\/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;px=-1\" alt=\"original.png\" align=\"center\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once in the rendering workspace, you will see the\u00a0background and model change a little as it is optimized for visualization.\u00a0You will also notice the toolbar has tools to control materials, environment and quality of rendering.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Render-Tools.png\" src=\"http:\/\/autodesk.i.lithium.com\/t5\/image\/serverpage\/image-id\/106526i4CAB8980995006B1\/image-size\/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;px=-1\" alt=\"Render-Tools.png\" align=\"center\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You may first want to apply materials to your design with the workflow you learned from Captain Colin in his &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/forums.autodesk.com\/t5\/Design-Differently\/Making-it-Look-Good-Apply-and-Edit-materials-in-Fusion360\/ba-p\/5092680\" target=\"_self\">Make it Look Good<\/a>&#8221; post last week.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Renderings2.png\" src=\"http:\/\/autodesk.i.lithium.com\/t5\/image\/serverpage\/image-id\/106538iE5E4926312C599D6\/image-size\/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;px=-1\" alt=\"Renderings2.png\" align=\"center\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once you are happy with your material selection, change the Environment Style with a choice of 8 different styles and the ability to rotate the light source to control where highlights show up on your design.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Screen Shot 2014-06-16 at 9.55.30 PM.png\" src=\"http:\/\/autodesk.i.lithium.com\/t5\/image\/serverpage\/image-id\/106528i5318AE5F776D1ED4\/image-size\/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;px=-1\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2014-06-16 at 9.55.30 PM.png\" width=\"1061\" height=\"692\" align=\"center\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Almost finished!!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can now select Render and choose between Quick, Normal and Advanced. Personally I only use Normal and Advanced when I am rendering. I will usually do a quick render with\u00a0Normal to see how thighs look then make adjustments to materials and environment before I render with Advanced.
