This article gives an overview of what hole tables are and how to create them.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/786c7559909f149fcb5390bcf9060cb9f25602ee.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hole tables show \u201chole\u201d information in an easy-to-read chart. To create a hole table, simply click on the hole table command, and choose an origin position. Next, place the table on the drawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ordinate-dimensions\">Ordinate dimensions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ordinate dimensions share the same origin as hole charts. This means that your hole chart and ordinate<br>dimensions will always be in sync. Moving the origin indicator will update all ordinate dimensions. The hole table will update too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"origin-indicator\">Origin indicator<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your drawing standard (ISO\/ANSI) sets the origin indicator type. You can also set the origin type when creating the table. Double-clicking the origin also lets you change the indicator type.<br>There are 4 types of origin indicators available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Datum Target<\/li><li>ISO<\/li><li>ANSI<\/li><li>Alternate<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/f80d01f896aaf86cb2e0955b3941660bb2867ef6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"hole-tags\">Hole tags<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hole tags automatically identify the holes in the table. Adding, editing or deleting hole features in the model will update the hole table. You can arrange hole tags by position or size. Deleting a tag removes the row from the chart. Multiple tags can be window-selected and moved as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-edit-hole-tables\">How to edit hole tables<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s easy to rename a hole table in the dialogue. If you may have more than one, you can give each one its own name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because you might need to tweak the table; table direction, position, origin settings, and column selection can all be set in the dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/cffe9ac0e7787c478015ff32b03ca4809bd138f6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To resize your table, just drag the triangle (at the bottom of the table).
