It was exciting to meet so many of you for the first time and to see many of you again. In case you missed this year or just want to relive the week, check out part two of some of the great things that happened this year! <FONT color=\"#FF9900\"><A href=\"https:\/\/forums.autodesk.com\/t5\/design-differently\/fusion-360-au-2015-event-recap-part-1\/ba-p\/5944075\" target=\"_blank\">Click here for Part 1<\/A><\/FONT><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><STRONG>Design Slam 2015: Students vs. Professionals<\/STRONG><\/P><P>This year we had our student experts compete against some seasoned Fusion 360 professionals, and they all showcased their talents in some unique design challenges, round 1 assembling and designing your own ModBot configuration, and round 2 build your own custom aerial drone.&nbsp;Check out the video and start to prepare your skills for next year.<\/P><P><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-embed-center video-embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"embedly-embed\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.embedly.com\/widgets\/media.html?src=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fembed%2FmhX7PsG94ok%3Ffeature%3Doembed&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DmhX7PsG94ok&amp;image=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2FmhX7PsG94ok%2Fhqdefault.jpg&amp;key=fad07bfa4bd747d3bdea27e17b533c0e&amp;type=text%2Fhtml&amp;schema=youtube\" width=\"601\" height=\"338\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><\/P><P>Big thanks to <FONT color=\"#FF9900\"><A href=\"https:\/\/www.3dhubs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">3D Hubs<\/A><\/FONT>, <FONT color=\"#FF9900\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.3dconnexion.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">3D Connextion<\/A><\/FONT>, and <FONT color=\"#FF9900\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.gameofdrones.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Aerial Sports League<\/A><\/FONT> for sponsoring the event this year.<\/P><P><STRONG>&nbsp;<\/STRONG><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><STRONG>Innovation Forums<\/STRONG><\/P><P>Roman Mars hosted all three of this year\u2019s connected Innovation Forums. The sessions covered everything from how to serve the emerging class of consumers who want control over the products that impact their lives, the new generation of designers using new tools to challenge the status quo, and the use of disruptive technologies changing the way we construct and experience our physical world.<\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P>We were thrilled to hear from several speakers who mentioned their use of Fusion 360 as an innovative tool in their design process. Matt Flail and Tim Ganter of Footprint leveraged Fusion 360 in their design process of 3D scanning and generating algorithmic patterns to rapidly manufacture 3D printed custom fit shoes.<\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P>Danielle Trofe of Trofe Design Studio, demonstrated how she\u2019s designed high-end lampshades from cost-effective, sustainable materials like organic mushrooms and agricultural byproducts. She shared with us that she used Fusion 360 as a powerful freeform modeling tool to create organic shapes, and develop animations of the lampshade design. <FONT color=\"#FF9900\"><A href=\"http:\/\/au.autodesk.com\/au-online\/live-stream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Here you can watch the recording of the innavation forums and other sessions from AU 2015<\/A><\/FONT><\/P><P><FONT color=\"#FF9900\"><IMG border=\"0\" alt=\"CVQa3PiUAAAS0eY.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/autodesk.i.lithium.com\/t5\/image\/serverpage\/image-id\/207320i58C8A6B4216FCCD6\/image-size\/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;px=-1\" title=\"CVQa3PiUAAAS0eY.jpg\" \/><\/FONT><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><STRONG>Closing Keynote<\/STRONG><\/P><P>Autodesk SVP Amar Hanspal wrapped up Autodesk University with a moving, celebratory presentation of the incredible work engineers and designers are doing to solve today\u2019s challenges. He shared the inspiration work of <A href=\"http:\/\/enablingthefuture.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Enable the Future<\/A>, a company who uses Fusion 360 to create 3D printed prosthetics for youth in need all over the world.
