Why? Well, they assumed it was too complicated and too expensive\u2014two common myths about the tool. And they thought it was mainly suited for additive manufacturing and wouldn\u2019t work well with their use of CNC machining.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Evolve team is always taking on and solving challenging engineering projects. That means also exploring new technologies to innovate and add value. For a new electric hypercar component project, they decided to see if generative design in Fusion 360 might help. They also needed to ensure optimization for CNC milling. The resulting design options presented with generative design were surprising.
