While some of you are still riding the grand waves of the <\/span>May 7 update,<\/span><\/a> we\u2019ve already made fixes for some critical issues that have been reported. This update includes fixes in graphics, startup, and CAM. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Cached Offline Data Now Available for 2 Months<\/b><\/p>\n

Previously when Fusion was in offline mode, you could still work on your recently opened designs, and could do so for up to 2 weeks until Fusion had to sync back online. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After the May 7 update, we found an unexpected side effect where distributed designs uploaded to the server no longer kept their referenced relationships. We then learned that if you opened the distributed design from their local cache and saved a new version, it would fix the issue and the relationships will hold true. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To decrease the likelihood of this occurring, we\u2019ve extended the time for how long cached data can exist without syncing from 2 weeks to 2 months so that we can help anyone with their data with less risks.  <\/p>\n

Start-up Stability <\/b><\/p>\n

Some of you have reported that after the update, Fusion would crash on startup. Our developers quickly diagnosed the issue and came up with a fix. BAM. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Render & Graphics<\/b><\/p>\n

Another nasty bug had to do with a graphics issue where if you were running DirectX 9 (or switched to DirectX 9), loaded a complex design, and went into the Render workspace, Fusion would sometimes crash. This is now fixed. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CAM Tool Library <\/b><\/p>\n

There have been reports where tools added to the cloud tool library were missing if you made edits to them and restarted Fusion. Now they always show up correctly. <\/span><\/p>\n
