Please update Fusion 360 ASAP and <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/article\/Unresolved-Components-or-File-is-not-available-at-the-moment-warning-in-Fusion-360-after-April-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">follow the steps outlined in this Support Article<\/a>.<\/h2>\n\n\n<p><strong>May 24, 2021:<\/strong> <strong>We pushed a new product update  that includes&nbsp;important fixes to the recent data issues&nbsp;where some&nbsp;design documents&nbsp;exhibited missing thumbnails and\/or&nbsp;failed to open due to&nbsp;\u201cunresolved components\u201d.&nbsp;If you haven\u2019t updated&nbsp;Fusion 360 yet, we urge you to&nbsp;go through&nbsp;the&nbsp;following 3 steps:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Save your existing work.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Restart Fusion 360&nbsp;to get the latest update.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>After update is successful, follow the steps&nbsp;outlined&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Support Article.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you are still experiencing the issues described,&nbsp;please&nbsp;contact us using&nbsp;the details provided in the&nbsp;support article.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/article\/Unresolved-Components-or-File-is-not-available-at-the-moment-warning-in-Fusion-360-after-April-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>&gt;&gt;Support Article&lt;&lt;<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>_____<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since mid-April, we\u2019ve&nbsp;received&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;reports&nbsp;from&nbsp;the community&nbsp;regarding an \u201cunresolved component\u201d error message.&nbsp;This means&nbsp;you were not able to open design documents&nbsp;containing&nbsp;externally referenced parts&nbsp;or derived parts, and the design documents themselves were stuck in an \u201cunavailable\u201d state.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&nbsp;are&nbsp;currently&nbsp;seeing a very small percentage of the community hitting this issue, but&nbsp;due&nbsp;the potential&nbsp;impact on&nbsp;your ability to access your design documents&nbsp;and potential data&nbsp;corruption&nbsp;,&nbsp;we want&nbsp;to make&nbsp;you aware&nbsp;and provide mitigation steps.&nbsp;To help&nbsp;reduce&nbsp;potential data corruption,&nbsp;<strong>we advise&nbsp;that you&nbsp;immediately&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/article\/Unresolved-Components-or-File-is-not-available-at-the-moment-warning-in-Fusion-360-after-April-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>follow the steps outlined in the support article.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our team is actively&nbsp;working on&nbsp;fixing this issue&nbsp;as quickly as possible,&nbsp;and&nbsp;this&nbsp;effort&nbsp;is&nbsp;our highest priority.&nbsp;We are also&nbsp;conducting&nbsp;a deeper investigation into&nbsp;the root cause of the&nbsp;issue&nbsp;so we can prevent&nbsp;it&nbsp;from happening again in the future.&nbsp;We understand that data access is paramount to you,&nbsp;as it is also paramount to us.&nbsp;We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing to your work, and&nbsp;we&nbsp;will keep you posted on our progress. Sorry for this &#8211; we got a fix out and this issue should be resolved. Please restart Fusion 360 and get the latest update. <br><br>If you tried the <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/support\/fusion-360\/troubleshooting\/caas\/sfdcarticles\/sfdcarticles\/Toolbar-and-bottom-screen-showing-black-after-the-April-26th-2021-update-of-Fusion-360.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">work-around<\/a> that was suggested prior to this fix, it&#8217;s best to undo that work-around and remove the environment variable mentioned in the work-around. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sketching &amp; Modeling<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Improved!&nbsp;Thin Extrude now&nbsp;support&nbsp;Chaining&nbsp;selections<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><em>Design Workspace &gt; Solid tab &gt; Create Panel &gt; Extrude &gt; Thin Extrude Type<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"621\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-1-1024x621.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20724\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-1-1024x621.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-1-300x182.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-1-768x466.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-1-1536x932.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-1.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously when&nbsp;you&nbsp;picked&nbsp;Thin as an extrude type&nbsp;in the Extrude command&nbsp;and&nbsp;selected&nbsp;an&nbsp;open profile,&nbsp;you were only able to&nbsp;select an entire curve&nbsp;chain, but&nbsp;was&nbsp;unable to&nbsp;select&nbsp;discrete&nbsp;curve segment of a chain.&nbsp;&nbsp;Now when you do a Thin Extrude,&nbsp;you&#8217;ll see a&nbsp;Chaining check box (default is on), which will give you the option to&nbsp;turn off chaining, so you can select&nbsp;discreet curves as&nbsp;you see fit.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Simulation&nbsp;Fix:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/forums.autodesk.com\/t5\/user\/viewprofilepage\/user-id\/10672542\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bezakdavid<\/a>&nbsp;told us about an issue where he was not able to run&nbsp;any&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forums.autodesk.com\/t5\/fusion-360-electronics\/spice-simulation-error\/m-p\/10224901#M4933\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Spice&nbsp;simulations<\/a>&nbsp;on his Eagle Schematic.&nbsp;Sorry about that, this is now fixed.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manufacture&nbsp;Notable Fixes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We fixed an issue where re-opening a part that&nbsp;have&nbsp;previously been exported locally incorrectly showed that the toolpaths were out-of-date.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>We found a bug lurking in the Turning roughing toolpath where if you didn\u2019t have Spun Profile enabled, the toolpath gouged into the model and&nbsp;incorrectly machined through the radius. You shouldn\u2019t have to enable Spun Profile to avoid this from happening, so we fixed it and now Turning roughing no longer gouges the model.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>We fixed&nbsp;an&nbsp;issue&nbsp;reported&nbsp;by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forums.autodesk.com\/t5\/user\/viewprofilepage\/user-id\/5113600\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Farzati.Scott<\/a>&nbsp;where&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forums.autodesk.com\/t5\/fusion-360-manufacture\/tool-holder-amp-tool-library-concerns\/m-p\/10243772#M102590\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tool preview was not showing<\/a>&nbsp;in the old tool library when you&nbsp;reverted back&nbsp;to it from the new one.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>We also&nbsp;fixed an issue with certain turning profile roughing toolpaths where the tool was starting inside the stock. Now the toolpath starts at the correct Z coordinate (stock front + z clearance).&nbsp;<\/li><li>There was a&nbsp;problem with certain turning profile finishing toolpaths where they were not generating when the Z stock width was smaller than the tool nose radius.
