{"id":17544,"date":"2016-10-14T00:04:29","date_gmt":"2016-10-14T00:04:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eagleblog.wpengine.com\/?p=102"},"modified":"2023-09-28T11:13:07","modified_gmt":"2023-09-28T18:13:07","slug":"eagle-7-7-out-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/eagle-7-7-out-now\/","title":{"rendered":"EAGLE 7.7 Out Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hey Everyone,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First things first, what a crazy couple of months!&nbsp; Since the acquisition by Autodesk, we have already had two beta releases culminating now in this, our first \u201cproper\u201d point release of EAGLE, version 7.7!&nbsp; We\u2019re super excited to make progress with <em>some<\/em> of EAGLE\u2019s capabilities, and we promise, this is just the very beginnings!&nbsp; To say what we\u2019ve got in store for EAGLE is exciting, is an understatement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This release is available now as a free upgrade to all version 7 users and can be downloaded from <a href=\"https:\/\/cadsoft.io\/\">Cadsoft.io<\/a>. &nbsp;Please check it out, and as always, we welcome your feedback!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now in this release we\u2019ve packed a host of technology intended to make that path to manufacturing easier and more straightforward. &nbsp;With some nice \u201cbonuses\u201d along the way (better visualization, SVG schematics to drop into your blog site or project page, nicely formatted BOMs, PDF documentation, etc\u2026check it out using the MAKE command described below!).&nbsp; Likewise, we\u2019ve added a workflow that includes a clear path to MCAD, included out of the box &amp; free with EAGLE v.7.7. &nbsp;As you can imagine, being a part of Autodesk, you can expect some pretty incredible updates in this area!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those who missed it, we talked about some of these concepts in a <a href=\"https:\/\/cadsoft.io\/blog\/beta-7.6.2-now-available-net-names-on-tracks-explorations-into-one-click-cam-export-to-step\/\">previous blog<\/a>, and your feedback was super helpful.&nbsp; Thank you!&nbsp; Please continue to provide feedback as we are developing these concepts as we\u2019re always eager to hear what you think!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That said, here\u2019s what you\u2019ll find in this new release:<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"net-names-on-tracks\"><strong>Net Names on Tracks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/netnames.1184x0-is.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-103\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Never have to ask for directions again.&nbsp; Now with the net names overlaid on tracks &amp; pads, navigating your board and picking up and routing signals has never been easier.&nbsp; This feature is enabled by default (along with pad numbers) and is disabled under the Options.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"make-button\"><strong>Make Button<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/autodesk.com\/products\/fusion-360\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/make.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-104\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The one button to rule them all!
