After all, these updates exist thanks to your feedback and requests! T<\/SPAN><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">he major focus for this update is around testing and simulation of your designs. You will soon find a workspace labeled \u201cSIM\u201d under the workspace switcher where you will be able to choose from two types of simulation studies: Static Stress and Modal Frequencies. Constrain an area of the model, put a load on it, and see how that load will affect the design and determine what part of the design is more prone to fail.<\/SPAN><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Modal Frequencies will allow you to see the natural vibration frequencies of your design and how much deformation will occur when it is subjected to a specific frequency. <\/SPAN><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><BR \/><BR \/><\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of the major features in the Simulation workspace will allow you to:<\/SPAN><\/P><UL><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set up adaptive mesh refinement<\/SPAN><\/LI><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Define degrees of freedom and contact behavior<\/SPAN><\/LI><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assign and override materials for testing <\/SPAN><\/LI><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Solve locally (cloud solve is in the works)<\/SPAN><\/LI><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Toggle results threshold in real-time<\/SPAN><\/LI><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Animate results to see deformation in real-time<\/SPAN><\/LI><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Generate convergence charts and reports <\/SPAN><\/LI><\/UL><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to these features, study results that have been saved in a latest design version can also be shared, viewed, and marked up by team members within the design\u2019s detail page on A360 via the web browser, making easier to communicate and collaborate on the go.<\/SPAN><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><IMG src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/sODeqrG.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" \/><\/SPAN><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expect a couple new tutorials (YouTube as well as in-product) around testing and simulation after our update goes live! <\/SPAN><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><BR \/><\/SPAN><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><BR \/><\/SPAN><FONT size=\"4\"><STRONG>Live Review<\/STRONG><\/FONT><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ve asked for it, and we\u2019re making it happen. Daniel touched on this in our<\/SPAN><A href=\"http:\/\/forums.autodesk.com\/t5\/design-differently\/your-invitation-to-a-new-a360\/ba-p\/5776450\" target=\"_blank\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> new A360 invitation<\/SPAN><\/A><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> post where the 3D web viewer now gives you the ability to start a live review session with anyone and see each other\u2019s interactions with the model in real-time. This new update will expand on this feature and allow Fusion 360 client to web live review sessions between 2 or multiple people at any given time.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><IMG src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/7hhqJzg.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" \/><\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Modeling edits made within Fusion 360 during a live review session will be reflected in the web session in real-time. If you are one driving the design from the client, you can give permission to reviewers to interact with the design, and you\u2019ll see it update within your Fusion 360 design environment. <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><P><FONT size=\"4\"><STRONG>Keyboard Shortcuts<\/STRONG><\/FONT><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another feature that has been highly voted on in our IdeaStation has been keyboard shortcuts. The gif below shows Line, Sketch Dimension, Press Pull, and Fillet all triggered by keyboard shortcut keys.<\/SPAN><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><IMG src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/b2YyNY6.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" \/><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><FONT size=\"4\"><STRONG>Drawings<\/STRONG><\/FONT><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><STRONG><IMG border=\"0\" alt=\"drawings for blog.png\" src=\"http:\/\/autodesk.i.lithium.com\/t5\/image\/serverpage\/image-id\/188109iF481E81E38543387\/image-size\/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;px=-1\" title=\"drawings for blog.png\" \/><\/STRONG><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this update, we\u2019ve improved stability and usability of the 2D drawings workspace and will also be introducing the ability to:<\/SPAN><\/P><UL><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create fully associative centerlines and center-marks<\/SPAN><\/LI><\/UL><UL><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Align and renumber balloons<\/SPAN><\/LI><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parts list reverse ordering (bottom to top)<\/SPAN><\/LI><LI style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Restore default properties to annotations<\/SPAN><\/LI><\/UL><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><FONT size=\"4\"><STRONG>Modeling, Sketching, Stability, and Performance<\/STRONG><\/FONT><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another popular ask that we\u2019re delivering on is the ability to pattern components.<\/SPAN><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><IMG border=\"0\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2015-09-09 at 3.52.38 PM.png\" src=\"http:\/\/autodesk.i.lithium.com\/t5\/image\/serverpage\/image-id\/188110i88D1F5A3C1E89927\/image-size\/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;px=-1\" title=\"Screen Shot 2015-09-09 at 3.52.38 PM.png\" \/><\/SPAN><\/P><P>&nbsp;<\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within the solid pattern commands such as rectangular pattern, circular pattern, and pattern on path, you\u2019ll see the option to pattern components as one of the pattern types. Simply click that you\u2019ll have your components patterned in no time. <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ve also made significant strides on the stability front, especially stability within the sketching environment. Over 40+ sketch related bugs and issues have been fixed, including issues that were causing crashes, unpredictable compute behavior in Variable Fillet and Combine, and sketching performance has noticeably become faster and more stable. <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re really excited about this update, and hope you are too.
