One of the great things about CAM inside Fusion 360 is that your toolpaths are associated with your model. If you make an update to your design, you don\u2019t have to re-program your part.<\/P>

Associated Toolpaths are huge time savers, but let\u2019s take it a step further with Derived Operations. Derived Operations take associated selections and transfers them to new toolpaths. Why is this awesome? It will save you the time of re-selecting geometry you have already selected once, and it will help get code faster to your machine.<\/P>

It never ceases to amaze me how so many of us that create machine code just start over and accept repetitive tasks as readily as we accept taxes. We don\u2019t have to with these features in Fusion 360, give them a try.<\/P>
