Les violons \u00e9lectriques peuvent \u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 la main. Toutefois, c\u2019est souvent des machines qui les produisent en masse dans des usines. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape consistait \u00e0 fournir aux algorithmes de conception g\u00e9n\u00e9rative des contraintes \u00e0 prendre en compte. \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons explor\u00e9 le strict minimum n\u00e9cessaire au fonctionnement d&rsquo;un violon : les parties o\u00f9 les cordes et les accessoires standard s&rsquo;attachent et les parties par lesquels le violoniste le tient normalement en jouant. Les joueurs de violon \u00e9lectrique disposent donc d&rsquo;une libert\u00e9 quasi illimit\u00e9e pour concevoir leur violon. Cette qualit\u00e9 fait des violons \u00e9lectriques ; et des autres instruments de musique \u00e9lectriques, des instruments id\u00e9aux pour les logiciels de conception g\u00e9n\u00e9rative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le violon GD est une combinaison id\u00e9ale de savoir-faire humain et de technologie avanc\u00e9e. La conception g\u00e9n\u00e9rative a cr\u00e9\u00e9 ce design \u00e0 partir d\u2019un ensemble de param\u00e8tres d\u00e9finis par Storey et Basl\u00e9. Toutefois, la touche de l&rsquo;artisan reste toujours n\u00e9cessaire. \u00ab\u00a0Bien que la forme du corps ait peu d&rsquo;effet sur les param\u00e8tres acoustiques du violon \u00e9lectrique, sans l&rsquo;expertise de Kevin, le son n\u2019aurait pas la m\u00eame qualit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Storey. La combinaison d&rsquo;un puissant outil de conception g\u00e9n\u00e9rative, d&rsquo;une fraiseuse CNC de bureau et d&rsquo;un luthier expert constitue une mani\u00e8re compl\u00e8tement in\u00e9dite de fabriquer un violon \u00e9lectrique.
