Where do bid opportunities come from?
Bid Board Pro pulls in invites sent through BuildingConnected, plus any ITBs your team forwards from email. You can also discover publicly posted projects through Plan Room, giving you access to GCs you haven’t worked with yet.
How does Bid Board Pro help teams improve win rates?
Built‑in analytics show win rates, estimator performance, and which clients or job types you’re most successful with. These insights help you focus on the right opportunities and make smarter bidding decisions.
Can Bid Board Pro handle bids from sources other than BuildingConnected?
Yes. Bid Board Pro allows teams to forward bid invites from email and other sources directly into the platform. This makes it easy to capture opportunities from multiple GCs and keep them all organized in one place, even if the invites didn’t originate in BuildingConnected.
Can other subcontractors see the bid I submitted through BuildingConnected?
No. Bids submitted through BuildingConnected are not visible to other subcontractors. When subcontractors submit bids to general contractors through our site, only that general contractor can see the submitted bid.
How does Bid Board Pro work with Forma Data Management?
With the Bid Board Pro and Forma Data Management integration, you can link a Bid Board opportunity in BuildingConnected to Forma Data Management. The Files tool in Data Management can then become the storage point for your files from BuildingConnected. You can spend less time moving files between systems and make handover from preconstruction to site construction easier.
