Creating intelligent assemblies – Evaluate Out of the Box

Module overview

As you may know, there are hundreds of out of the box subassemblies that ship with Autodesk Civil 3D. But before you begin any corridor modeling project, it would be best to fully understand what options are available to you, and which options better fit your project design. In this module, we will evaluate the subassemblies, review the subassembly palette, and create our own easy to access tool palette.

This module takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to:

  • Identify differences in Out Of The Box Subassemblies
  • Create a tool palette to save your favorites

Module pre-requisites
