Airbus Research intern discovers new innovation and career opportunities with generative design
While working as an intern at Airbus Research, an aeronautical engineering student developed a hydrogen-driven octocopter drone using generative design in Fusion 360. Generative design helped him go beyond topology optimization and explore more variables in the design process based on multiple manufacturing methods and materials.
