In the first of this two-part series, we will showcase many of the AutoCAD batch apps available on the Autodesk App Store.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"sonofabatch\">SonOfaBatch<\/h2>\n<p>Hands down, this one has to win on its name alone. The attribute changing features have the ability to not only change attributes, but also to search and replace a text string within a specified attribute tag value.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You can check it out <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.autodesk.com\/ACD\/en\/Detail\/Index?id=3580251928718982393&amp;appLang=en&amp;os=Win32_64\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a> and, best of all, it\u2019s free.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"jtb-batch-change\">JTB Batch Change<\/h2>\n<p>If you want change (and lots of it), then this is the app for you.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJTB Batch Change brings the Autodesk AutoCAD ActiveX Object Model to your command via Excel design spreadsheets,\u201d says developer JTB World. \u201cWith Batch Rename Objects you can rename layers in hundreds of drawing by substituting text &#8220;Concrete&#8221; with &#8220;CONC,\u201d or add a prefix of &#8220;AC &#8221; to each layer&#8217;s name.
