This annual event in Stockholm tackles the pressing issues around the world\u2019s water supply. One of these organizations that has specific ties to AutoCAD is KickStart International.<\/p>\n<p>KickStart International designs, promotes, and markets low-cost irrigation pumps for smallholder farmers in Africa. By adopting irrigation, farmers are empowered to end their dependence on unreliable rainfall, grow more crops, start new businesses, secure their food needs and livelihoods, and take a major step out of poverty.<\/p>\n<p>KickStart International\u2019s use of AutoCAD and Simulation Mechanical to design the irrigation pumps was also recently featured on another Autodesk blog property, <a href=\"https:\/\/lineshapespace.com\/kickstart-international\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Line\/\/Shape\/\/Space<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can also read about KickStart International over on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.autodesk.org\/stories\/kickstart-international\">Autodesk Foundation\u2019s \u201cStories of Impact.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Are you attending this year\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/au.autodesk.com\/las-vegas\/overview\">Autodesk University in Las Vegas<\/a>?
