Read Wall&#8217;s blog:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/shanewallcto.com\/2016\/04\/27\/3d-printing-more-than-just-a-new-way-of-making-things\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">3D printing: More than just a new way of making\u00a0things<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2015\/06\/3d-printing-save-the-world\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World Economic Forum<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/ricksmith\/2015\/06\/15\/3d-printing-is-about-to-change-the-world-forever\/#4c5cf5c1268d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Forbes<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3dengr.com\/3d-printing-in-the-future.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">3DEngr.com<\/a>\u00a0are among those who want you to know the 10 or so ways that 3D printing can, is about to, or will change our lives forever.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"see-the-big-picture-in-3d-printing-today-with-autodesk\">See the big picture in 3D printing today\u2014with Autodesk<\/h2>\n<p>Then why hasn\u2019t 3D printing, known on an industrial scale as additive manufacturing, displaced traditional (or subtractive) manufacturing?<\/p>\n<p>One big reason: For big jobs, traditional manufacturing is cheaper and faster. Part of the problem is 3D printing\u00a0jobs are\u00a0limited to using a single printing nozzle at a time. Autodesk is developing software and control technology for enabling next-generation 3D printers to harness multiple printing nozzles at once.
