With that baseline, let\u2019s look closer at the rest of the dialog, which is partitioned into six distinct sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-deep-dive-into-the-dialog\">A Deep Dive Into The Dialog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first section is often your starting point. Once you have a list of Sheets to publish created, you can save that list into a .DST file, which will save you time on any subsequent publish jobs. Select your .DST and you\u2019re ready to go! You\u2019ll be prompted to save your sheets when you click on the Publish or Cancel button at the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The other part of that section specifies what kind of output you\u2019re going to create. Choose either <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/support\/autocad\/learn-explore\/caas\/CloudHelp\/cloudhelp\/2020\/ENU\/AutoCAD-Core\/files\/GUID-DFC086F4-E98C-4FF7-A55E-67FC35007DE5-htm.html?st=dwf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"DWF style (opens in a new tab)\">DWF style<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/support\/autocad\/learn-explore\/caas\/CloudHelp\/cloudhelp\/2020\/ENU\/AutoCAD-Core\/files\/GUID-220474C0-4743-4428-B440-4451DC5F0162-htm.html?st=pdf%20presets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"PDF (opens in a new tab)\">PDF<\/a> for electronic sets. Notice that any of these options activate the line items in the <em>Options Information<\/em> box (section 4 in the image). Each entry in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Page Setup (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/support\/autocad\/learn-explore\/caas\/CloudHelp\/cloudhelp\/2020\/ENU\/AutoCAD-Core\/files\/GUID-2C5C9DE4-0740-4D7F-A781-745A04F588B0-htm.html?st=page%20setup\" target=\"_blank\">Page Setup<\/a> column is also a pull-down list, containing all Page Setups in that drawing\u2019s layout (or in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autodesk.com/blogs\/autocad\/know-space-autocad-tuesday-tips-seth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Model Space (opens in a new tab)\">Model Space<\/a>, if that is your method). While you can set each independently, most often the set of sheets are a group that will typically all have the same settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>To set them all, select all entries with either a CTRL-A (or with mouse clicks). Here\u2019s the important part: the first entry will control them all. You can add or remove single or multiple entries, and re-order up and down. What is not obvious is that you can also re-order them by dragging the entry into position with your mouse, which you may find easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, you can add sheets by dragging and dropping from a File Explorer window, which is, in fact, a very common workflow for those of us who don\u2019t use multiple layouts in a single DWG file. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Section four contain the information and options for DWF, DWFx, and PDF outputs. While mostly informational, I always make sure to check it to make sure I\u2019m creating what I think I am before I continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The section also has a <em>Publish Options<\/em> button which will display a dialog containing various controls.
